The developer of the Quantum Wave Laser, Paul Weisbart has claimed since he first launched the product that the way in which the laser light has been programmed allows a far wider range of issues to be dealt with that can be addressed with an ordinary laser.

I recently had the opportunity to put this to the test. I was working on a woman who, it transpired, had suffered lengthy sexual and psychological abuse as a child and a teenager.  She asked me to work with her to clear the emotional trauma. We went through the Still Point Protocol, developed by Paul Weisbart to enable the body to get to the Still Point so that it can then heal itself.

I then started working on various emotional centres and we were both astounded at the depth of her cathartic experience. At the beginning of the session I had asked her to rate her degree of stress when thinking about the perpetrator of her abuse. She rated it a 10 out of 10. After working with the laser, I asked her to re-evaluate her stress level and she rated it a 1 out of 10.

The session demonstrated just how effective the Quantum Wave Laser is in dealing with emotional, as well as physical, issues.

The days were long, 10.00 to 20.00 and boy were we busy! But the days seemed to wizz by and the Quantum Wave Laser really showed it’s worth. I used it to give therapy sessions to anyone who wanted them. Some people just wanted to de-stress and experience Still Point, others also wanted specific issues addressed.

Issues Addressed with the Quantum Wave Laser

These issues were varied, as you’d expect, and included, in no particular order:

1. constipation,
2. clearing the negative consequences of an abusive relationship,
3. clearing the negavive consequences of 15 years of sexual and psychological abuse in childhood,
4. physical injuries,
5. back problems,
6. low self-esteem,
7. an infected root canal,
8. inner child healing,
9. fertility issues

… you name it, the laser dealt with it.

In fact, it dealt with these issues so well that people ended up buying or renting a laser so that they could continue to work on themselves, their family and friends.

It’s important to remember that neither the laser nor the practitioner heals anything; what the laser does is give the client’s being photons of energy that the body can then use to heal itself. Regardless of the egotistical pronouncements of some healers, it’s the client’s body that does the healing.

It’s also useful for those who know their acupoints but have not trained in the traditional use of acupuncture needles.

LLLT, Acupressure and Sports Preparation

As an example, I recently began riding my mountain bike after about a year off. I would have expected soreness and stiffness for the first few rides but using the Quantum Wave Laser and one of its associated probes on Somach 36, Kidney 1 and GV 4 before riding and Gall Bladder 34, Spleen 9, Bladder 40 and Bladder 62 afterwards, and I experienced neither soreness nor stiffness!

Animals

Laser acupuncture is also useful for vets where needling a restless animal can be difficult. It is particularly useful in the equine world where musculoskeletal injuries and surface wounds can be treated very effectively.

Auricular Acupuncture and Reflexology with LLLT

Low level lasers can be used on auricular acupuncture points, again avoiding the need or needles and have been very effective for smiking cessation and weight loss. In a similar way, a Low level laser may be used on the reflexology points of the feet, meaning that reflexologists can treat people from conditions where touch is contraindicated, such as fibromyalgia. This same benefit also applies to those involved in massage; some patients cannot tolerate being touched, andlow level lasers can be used to relax muscles and normalise the body.

For those who know their meridians and acupoints, low level laser acupuncture can be applied across a wide range of conditions.  Even in cases where there is excess in the system, laser acupuncture will prove beneficial as it has a normalising effect.

1. If the dosage of laser light applied is too low, it will fail to stimulate a healing effect.
2. If the dosage of laser light applied is too high, it will fail to stimulate a healing effect.
3. If the dosage of laser light applied is much too high, it will inhibit the healing effect.
4. If the dosage of laser light applied is just right, it will stimulate a healing effect.

These findings were made using a colimnated laser. Research needs to be carried out in order to find out whether points 2 and/or 3 apply to the SWL.

Types of Healing Lasers.

There are two types of laser used in healing:

1. Surgical lasers, used for cutting, burning and sealing tissue.
2. Low level Lasers, used for stimulating cellular function.

What does Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) do?

Explaining the biology and physics of LLLT in depth is beyond the scope of this article but to summarise briefly, laser therapy:

1. Stimulates the immune system.
2. Stimulates the circulation of various fluids including CSF, blood and lymph.
3. Stimulates the release of various substances such as endorphins, enkephalin and 5HTP.
4. Stimulates cellular metabolism.
5. Can reduce inflammation.
6. Can bring about relief from pain

And far from being a new age, pie in the sky approach top healing, there are over 3,000 different studies, many of them peer reviewed, demonstrating the effectiveness of LLLT on people, and animals.

LLLT works by donating photons to the body’s cells. The body then uses the photons to increase its levels of adenotriphosphate (ATP), leading to increased cellular energy and cellular growth.

LLLT and Pain

Whilst many people find LLLT to be painless and relaxing, a few experience pain. Don’t tell the client this in advance, or you may create a self-fulfilling prophecy! However, if it does happen, reassure them on two counts:

1. With chronic pain in particular, it is part of the healing process – it will disappear after a day or so.
2. It may be a sign that an emotion attached to the physical pain is being released. The QWL is very effective in releasing the emotion or spiritual issue relating to an energetic blockage that is manifesting as physical pain.

Modern quantum physicists have demonstrated that matter and energy are interchangeable; matter is simply another form of energy. In other words, everything is comprised of energy! The human body, and indeed the bodies of every living thing, is made up of energy and sustained by energy. Each of the body’s organs and glands not only has a different function, but also has a different rate of vibration.

The Quantum Wave Laser takes advantage of the energetic basis of the body and means that you can offer the client the same benefits that Traditional Chinese physicians take years to learn:

- Purging the body to detoxify it

- Tonifying the body’s internal systems, glands and organs

- Restoring energetic harmony to the body, first achieved by using the Still Point Protocol also known as the Unwind Protocol. This Protocol “unwinds” or clears the cells, organs, glands, meridians, chakras and plexuses of the body and entrains the body with the Universal energy that surrounds us all.

This approach is extremely successful when working on the physical level ranging from the smallest cells in the body to the largest of organs and the skeleton. In addition, some lasers will help the client to heal her/himself at an emotional level, clearing the energy of trapped emotions. And what is more, it will work just as well on the subtle energetic anatomy of the Meridian System, Chakras, Plexuses and Aura.

Remember that the body is actually a reflection of the mind: in the words of Deepak Chopra, the body is “a symbol in flesh and blood of everything you think and feel.” Facilitating healing in a person’s body can and will lead to them healing on a spiritual, mental and emotional level.

Low Level Laser Therapy

Mention lasers to people and many different topics come up: hair removal, eye surgery, industrial cutting machines, CDs/DVDs, tattoo removal etc. Many people are unaware of the healing properties of low powered lasers and of the whole field of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT). LLLT can be used to donate photons of energy to teh body in order to facilitate healing, an example of which is found in the stretch marks case study.

The next article will examine the subject of LLT while further articles will look at one machine in particular, the Quantum Wave Laser.

I was working on the Quantum Wave Laser stand at the Birmingham NEC recently and was talking about the benefits of Low Level Laser Therapy with 4 students. One of them said in a cheeky voice “I bet it can’t deal with my stretch marks!” Now there was a challenge! I told her to get on the table and we’d see.

I spent about 20 minutes using the Quantum Wave Laser and doing what we call the “Still Point Protocol”, which is a way of getting the body to a place where it can begin to heal itself. (see below). I then spent a further 20 minutes working on two of the stretch marks with a low level laser – no heat, no burning, just a low level or soft laser. After 20 minutes, both marks had gone.

Needless to say the young lady was delighted and can’t wait for me to work on the other marks. When I do this, I will take photos and write it up as a full case study.

Still Point Protocol

The Still Point Protocol is one of the fundamental aspects of the Quantum Wave Laser. The developer of the laser, Paul Weisbart explains the philosophy in detail in the DVD that accompanies the handset, but it is important to summarise some of the key factors.

The QWL does several things. The primary focus is on the development and maintenance of well-being rather than on addressing symptoms. The intention is to release deep-seated energetic blockages and on rejuvenating the body at a cellular level. One of the ways that this is achieved is through helping the body to clear toxins held in the cells so that the DNA can communicate effectively.

Our lives are becoming more and more hectic to the extent that so many people have forgotten how to relax their bodies and minds.  In despair, some turn to drugs or alcohol to try to shut out life’s constant pressures only to find that this numbs the body and mind but does nothing to help their long term ability to cope. Physical or nervous breakdowns ensue, leading to a health crisis at a national level

A significant factor underpinning this health crisis is an over-reliance on adrenalin. Fast-paced living, junk food, caffeine and other stimulants, chronic and/or acute stress all place a load on the adrenals. The result? Most people’s adrenals are overworked.

One of the blessings of the QWL is that it gives us the opportunity to help ourselves, our families and our friends to relearn how to connect with a place of relaxation and calm through the Still Point Protocol.
